Supporting high quality research on issues which affects family carers is a core action within our current Strategic Plan. As such, we carry out a number of activities related to driving the research agenda forward on family carer issues.
We collaborate across the sector both nationally and internationally to support and undertaken high-quality research. You can see some of our past projects here.
We publish literature reviews and highlight recommendations for future research in our Discussion Paper Series.
We co-ordinate the Family Carer Research Group which brings together academics, students, family carers and not-for-profit researchers for peer-support and collaboration.
We are happy to discuss the dissemination of research projects across our membership and social media channels where appropriate.
Our Policy & Research Officer Zoe is available to advise on research matters pertaining to family carers, and is particularly keen to support student and early-stage researchers. To that end, she coordinates a private online social and peer-support group for students who are undertaking projects related to family carers.
You can contact Zoe about any of these activities by email (firstname.lastname@example.org)
